THE SACLAY TRAY
(Essonne, France) This territory has been undergoing complete transformation for several years. It takes place on the urban campus of the Operation of National Interest (OIN) Paris-Saclay initiated in 2011 and entered its operational phase in 2014. Since 2016 AltiClic has been carrying out a helicopter report each year on this territory to follow developments key figures for the Paris-Saclay region in 2018: 825,000 inhabitants - 427,600 jobs - 300 laboratories - 15% of French research - 10,000 researchers - 65,000 students.
ENEDIS SOURCE STATION
(Palaiseau, Essonne, France) The function of a source substation is to transform high voltage current into medium voltage. A new source substation was built at Palaiseau to supply the Saclay plateau and AltiClic was able to follow the delivery of one of the transformers.
